Bac Ma Pagoda was built by Phap Loa in 1327 as the place for study of Buddhist Monks during practice in Quynh Lam Academy. The pagoda was named as Phuc Chi (i.e towards the good fortune).


In the war against the French, the pagoda was a place of activities of the revolutionary cadres, center of Dong Trieu war zone.
Bac Ma Traditional House is a place to keep and display many items, documents, photographs about the old insurgent army of the war zone such as weapons, spears, broadswords, guns, etc ... In particular, the statue of General Nguyen Binh, War Zone Commander is kept here, placed at a very formal position.By visiting the Bac Ma Relics group today, visitors not only admire the stone relics caved with delicate lines, in energetic sophisticated style of architecture art of the Tran, the Le, the Nguyen Dynasties but also relive the heroic spirit of the army and people in the early period of resistance.
The Bac Ma Relics Group was ranked as the National level Historical relics at Decision No. 2379/QD-BT, dated 05/9/1994.
